Here are some more pictures from Mike and Yanik’s HALO
skydive.
I gotta tell you, I’ve gained a whole new respect for Mike
Filsaime. For his first skydive ever, he chose a 30,000
foot dive.
Me, I’m still trying to get up the nerve to do a 14,000 foot
jump!
Yanik had done a static line jump before where they tie
you off and the chute is pulled for you when you go out the
door…which can be scary enough by itself.
Rob had done a tandem jump before with an instructor which is
what the guys did for the HALO.
Either way, I want to go, and I don’t! I’m gonna do it, but
it’s not going to be easy. I don’t have any problem going
140-160 MPH in a car on the dragstrip, but jumping out of
an airplane…
Anyway, here’s a couple more pictures from the jump:

Here’s Yanik, my wife Pauline, Me, and Mike filsaime just before they
loaded on the plane to go up.

Mike and Yanik doing a pre-jump interview for Channel 7 News
explaining the Jump for Charity.

Mike and his instructor, Jim, coming in for a landing

Yanik and instructor, Ben Crowell. They were the first to land.

And finally, here’s Rob Olic, one of Yanik’s partners, and his instructor, Brian touching down.
I’ve got a ton more pictures to go through. I’ll put a few more of them up a little later on.
Michael
